The official language of the congress is English. All keynote and invited presentations will be delivered in English.
Simultaneous translation will be provided for French-language presentations (Dr. Charles Joussellin). Participants are encouraged to submit questions in English where possible.
Getting There
Antalya International Airport (IATA: AYT) is the nearest airport, with direct flights from major European cities including London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Paris, Vienna, Warsaw, and many more.
Transfer time from Antalya Airport to Belek (Regnum Carya Hotel) is approximately 45 minutes by shuttle or taxi. Airport transfer services can be arranged through the congress secretariat.
Visa Information
Citizens of many countries can obtain an e-Visa for Türkiye online prior to travel at www.evisa.gov.tr.
Some nationalities are eligible for visa-free entry. Please check the current requirements with the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs or your nearest Turkish consulate well in advance of travel.
Currency
The official currency of Türkiye is the Turkish Lira (TRY). Euro (EUR) and US Dollar (USD) are widely accepted in tourist areas, hotels, and restaurants in Belek and Antalya.
ATMs are available throughout Belek and Antalya. Credit cards are accepted at all major establishments. It is advisable to carry some local currency for smaller purchases.
Climate in October
October is an ideal time to visit Antalya. Expect warm, sunny Mediterranean weather with daytime temperatures of 20–26°C and sea temperatures of 22–24°C.
With 9–10 hours of sunshine per day and low humidity, October offers perfect conditions for both conference participation and leisure activities. Light summer clothing with a light jacket for evenings is recommended.
Accreditation
The XVI ESH Congress has been awarded ESH Certificate (ESHC) Credit Points by the European Society of Hypnosis.
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the conclusion of the congress. ESHC holders attending the congress will receive credit points toward their ongoing certification. Please collect your certificate from the registration desk on the final day.
Health & Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all participants. The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is valid in Türkiye for EU citizens.
The Regnum Carya Hotel has medical facilities on site. The nearest full hospital is in Belek/Serik. In case of emergency, dial 112 (universal emergency number for all services in Türkiye).
